Description

High quality spacious cold frame made in the UK, this extra-large 4x8 model offers a very generous ridge height to give a perfect environment for raising seeds and plants.

Strong architectural aluminium frame for rustproof and maintenance free operation, the 3mm Toughened glass panels are easily slid open on sides and roof for easy access, these can also be completely removed for further access and cleaning.

Can be sited directly on soil, onto a hardstanding such as slabs or even onto an optional raised bed.

Purpose built accessories available include an end automatic louvre, a pair of shelves, a mist watering system, roof shading kit and a 36cm high timber raised bed (more accessory details below).

Cold Frame Automatic Louvre

This unit includes the Louvre with an internal automatic arm that will open and close the louvre blades according to temperature.Replaces a 2ft x 2ft glass end panel - perfect for automatic ventilation.

Seed Tray Shelves

Twin pack of aluminium 4ft long seed tray shelves.One deep and one narrow per set, these will hold up to 8 seed trays. Maximise the space inside your unit.

Mist Watering Kit

The Mist Watering kit will gently water your seeds and plants from the top of your cold frame/greenhouse.A new apex plate will be supplied with your unit which has a standard hose attachment, you can then connect your garden hose (standard snap on connector) to mist spray your plants.A hose with commercial grade misting nozzles goes along the top of your unit to cover the entire inside area.

Roof Shading Kit

Shade cover supplied the correct length of your unit, ideal for sunny areas or for growing delicate plants.Made from a tough Polypropylene that can be rolled up or down to suit.Covers the roof and top of the side panel.Cold frames and units with an apex roof will need 2 kits if you wish to cover both sides of your roof.

Raised Wooden Bed

Sustainably sourced tanalised timber raised bed made to exactly fit your unit.As well as reducing your bending, growing in a raised bed can yield faster growing plants due to better drainage and faster warming soil.1ft3"/36cm High.
