Description

The Elite 8x14 Edge greenhouse pent roof greenhouse is for those that require strength combined with practicality and great looks. Using their Core-Vect Technology which produces a hugely thick bar that Elite believe has more aluminium content then their competitors, these are built to withstand the UK weather conditions.
Many features are included as standard such as lockable double doors with low threshold access, bar capping for increased waterproofing and strength holding the glass in, built in base and gutter, 2x Roof Vents, 1x matching 5 blade louvre, 4mm long pane toughened glass with a quality twin wall 6mm polycarbonate roof (polycarbonate is semi-opaque), along with all the usual Elite high quality features that are in all of their greenhouses.
Choose natural unpainted silver aluminium or available in 11 high quality powder coated finishes.

Powder Coated Colours

High quality, hard wearing, professional powder coated finish. Co-ordinate your greenhouse to your garden with this choice of 11 colours.

All colours come with nut caps to hide the aluminium nuts in your greenhouse, this gives a clean professional finish.

Glazing

Toughened Glass - Elite only use Grade A toughened glass to standard EN12150, this is long pane sheets for a neater finish and eliminates any overlapping which can have an algae and moss build up. Much stronger than horticultural glass these panes will granulate if broken removing the danger of serious injury.

5 Slat Staging

Elite's super strong diamond aluminium staging which has been designed with the exact greenhouse in mind. This is a fixed staging which utilises cantilever bracing attached directly to the framework for extra stability and strength, the staging can be fixed at the height which is best for you and runs the full length of either the side or back of your greenhouse.The slatted design is ideal for fluid drainage and allows extra ventilation to any produce placed on the work surface.Aluminium or powder coated to match your frame. 19" wide.

End Staging is available for the 2 sides Back Staging is available along the rear - If purchased with End Staging we will have it cut so you can form an "L" or "U"

2 Slat Shelving

Narrower than the staging but otherwise the same this shelving can be positioned at any height and adds extra working area in your greenhouse.Staging and shelves are supplied in easy to assemble kit form and will not rust, rot or deteriorate in humid greenhouse conditions. Aluminium or powder coated to match the greenhouse frame. 7 ½" wide.

Louvre

Louvres provide low level ventilation and are an excellent accessory. Humid and stagnant air can cause condensation which develops mould and disease, by adding louvres to the rear or side of your building fresh air is drawn in and encourages circulation. These 5 blade aluminium or powder coated louvres are supplied with toughened glass.

Autolouvre

These automatic louvre openers will open and close your louvre for you depending on the air temperature. You will need one Autolouvre for each louvre you wish to open automatically. Please note that some drilling is required to fit this accessory.

Rainwater Kits

You will be amazed at the amount of water that you can collect off a greenhouse roof, it would be a shame to waste it! These are designed to be used with Elite's unique half round gutter only and are available in 2 forms.
Standard - Each kit comprises of parts to fit one side of your greenhouse. One stopper is supplied to fit one end of your greenhouses built in gutter, for the other end connectors and pipe are supplied to make a rainwater downpipe which can then be fitted into a water barrel or simply to direct the water where you wish.
To One Gutter - This clever system connects both gutters to one side, similar in style to the standard system and supplied with an extra stopper and connectors for both gutters and a tranverse pipe which is placed along the rear of the greenhouse, this allows the water to be carried to a single point.

Water Barrels

Elite offer 2 sizes of water barrel to complement the rainwater kits, made from ridged moulded plastic choose from the standard 210 litre (46 gallons) or if space is limited choose the slimline 100 litre version.

When fitted to the low cost stand or raised on bricks these allow access to the incorporated tap at the bottom of the barrel.

String/Wire Tying Eyes

Dual purpose hooks that are easily attached to your greenhouse by simply twisting in to place. Use the built-in cable hook for electrical wires, also has a hole for running string/wire through to attach plant supports and similar. Supplied in a pack of 6.

Freestanding Potting Bench

Quality potting bench from Elite that is the ideal work height. The 2" lip at the front prevents spillages and the work area has a 4" hole for brushing waste down in to the hopper below.
